Whoever Saves One Life, Saves The World Entire.

Schindler’s List came out in 1993. I was not ready to watch it then. I thought I was ready today.

There was a moment when there were 3 large truckloads of children that were being shipped off to Auschwitz. A few children had hid in a used and filled toilet. One child jumped in to hide like the others. That child was told to leave by the others already there. I don’t know who felt worse. That child. Or the grieving mothers screaming for their children as the they drove away.

The heartlessness.

I planted a tree in Israel when I was just 9 years old when I learned of the Holocaust. I planted a tree in Israel just like there was one planted for Oscar Schindler.
