Yet Again. And He’s Still President.

Ok, so we’re finding out more and more about this whole deal with the White House knowing in detail what was going to happen to Louisiana, et al… Maybe this isn’t news. Is it? But then Bush says this a day before the storm hit:

“I want to assure the folks at the state level that we are fully prepared to not only help you during the storm, but we will move in whatever resources and assets we have at our disposal after the storm.

So they knew the severity. Almost 24 hours prior to the storm hitting. And yet everything was a mess. And likely so. This was no walk in the park.

Anyways… You decide for yourself. Here is a link to the article which also has the video embedded.

I am getting sick of writing about this but I still don’t understand how a President gets a blow job (I don’t recall any deaths surrounding this) and there is calls for impeachment, yet shit like this happens under this administration and we just pat him on the back.

Good boy.

Eh. Whatever. We’re all doomed anyways.

  • You will note that he’s currently in the midst of assuring us the Dubai port deal is safe. A Bush assurance == everyone to the fallout shelters!

  • I’d just like to note again that there weren’t just calls for impeachment. He *was* impeached. Congress voted to pass the articles of impeachment but stopped short of removing him from office. And yet mere calls for impeachment for the lies from this babe’s mouth and everyone scoffs at the silly libs.

  • The part that blows my mind is how he asked exactly zero questions during the entire meeting. He just spouted his usual “We’re already doin’ a heckuva job” bromides. Then he had the gall to go on “Good Morning America” two days later and say that there was no way to know that the levees would be breached.
