Ever since watching Led Zeppelin’s The Song Remains the Same, as a teenager, I’ve had the desire to own a set of Vistalites. The large, full and round sounds of the Vistalites are so distinguishable and coveted. Yesterday my dream came true. My friend Christopher was selling his kit that is in mint condition with all original hardware. So a few hundred dollars later, I (rather the studio) am the new proud owner of these killer drums. Thanks for letting me live the dream, Christopher.

Purty!
Bonham’s were orange, right?
Still… amazing. Sure blows my Tama Rockstars out of the water.
Are Chris’s rock n’ roll days over?

Fantabulous! I’m so inspired to wail on those things. They’re gorgeous. And I love that modern lounge in the back. . .reminds me of Mies Van der Rohe furniture. Sort of. I’m not eloquent or versed in the furniture game.
Thanks!
The lounge in the back was actually a designer prop for HBO. It was used on Sex in the City among other shows. We got it for $60. I kid you not. Shipping was nearly twice that!
The company is called Props for Today in Manhattan. I don’t think they have a store room anymore. I think once or twice a year they have an open house. Do a google search.
