to prove humans could live & work in space

Skylab is not falling – it is in transition. She is being upgraded with a new mixing console. 32/64 inputs. 8 groups. 2 mains. Her patchbay is doubling. The cabling is almost making me sick. But I am getting there. Gordon is coming over tonight to help. I think we should buy pocket protectors. Only in respect to our pioneering forefathers of recording studios. Raymond Scott. Phil Spector. Alan Lomax. Geoff Emerick. George Martin. Or at least my forefathers. Rebuilding Skylab, as much of a pain as it is, is almost satisfyingly endearing. Enjoy the colors of my upgrading. See you soon.
