So i have accepted the job offer with the Discovery Channel in DC. I will be a web developer for the lovely cable network whose subsidiaries include the Learning Channel and such favorites as the Animal Planet Channel (i know it’s one of my favorites!) This is going to make me a busy man, in addition to my other endeavors. I appologize in advance if you don’t hear from me for a while via email. Feel free to write me, though, as i read each and every email message i get! Don’t be offended if it takes a week or so to get back to you. I will try to post journal entries, still a couple times a week. No bibles here.
Today Lisa and i went to Subway for lunch. Yummy! Those northerners really know how to make a sub right! No question. Then we went to the tattoo shop to get her a new piercing ring for some hole(s) in her body. I am so out of the loop (pardon the pun) with piercings. I do miss my nip rings and maybe soon i will get them re-pierced. Any suggestions? Also why are piercing people all creepy? Is it a pre-requisite? Creep men with metal in their body!! Ah!
Have any of you heard the song by the Beatles called ‘Rain.’ It’s a beauty gem of a song. It’s really uncanny how much that song sounds like the feel of the Boston Mass Trasit Athority. Uncanny.
“If you look at Bob’s history, and first of all, I’ll just say one thing. I, I pride myself on being pretty clever about figuring people out, you know, people I know in my life and people I barely even have just met. I think I’m really clever. I’ve never claimed to understand Bob.” -Joan Baez 1996 (about Bob Dylan)
