Nobukazu Takemura

Good morning. I just got in from being outside and reading this fabulously funny book called ‘Breakfast with Champions.’ It’s by Kurt Vonnegut. It’s really really bizzare humor which i think is the best. Anyways….it’s so incredibly wonderful outside. It’s in the mid 80s, no humidy, and a breeze. What’s up with that? Summers in DC are usually mid 90s, and humity that makes you sweat on your arms 10 seconds after you leave your house. Gross i tell ya. But today it’s fabulous. Go outside…and enjoy it while you can.

And you are probably wondering about the subject of today’s post. Nobukazu Takemura (besides being a wonderful combination of letters and pronounciation) is a Japanese artist that performs minimalist music, among other entities. A lot of the time it sounds like choppy and skipping carnival music. I really like it. You should too.
