Fourth of Bethesda

Soundtrack of the day: CSNY, Talking Heads, Suzanne Vega, The Beatles, The Police, & Mom trimming the bushes outside.

Hope everyone had a splendid 4th of July. I spent mine in DC wtih Jessie Belle. We went to the Key Bridge in Georgetown, right next to the Exorcist Stairs! (ooooh, spooooooky!) The Key Bridge, i believe, takes you in to Virginia. The fireworks were a little less than satisfactory. Granted we were away from the masses of the flocking white trash that seem to come out of the woodwork for this occasion, but due to the fact that Jessie and I were so far from the ‘works the sound was really low and muffled so the experience wasn’t enhanced with that factor. Regardless, it was still fun playing with the doggies next to me and watching all the gay men come up to the dog to pet it!

Job update: I went to the Discovery Channel today for an interview. It went wonderfully and they want me back again tomorrow morning! I have got to get used to this “waking up early sha-nan-agan.” Ha! The whole deal looks really enticing. Wish me luck! I will keep you all posted on the result of tomorrow.

Be sure to get involved with the Story sections by click on 1 and/or 2 from the menu above. They are entirely interactive. The first story is just like those “Choose Your Own Adventure” books we all read and loved in 4th grade. Perhaps some of us still read them, I know I still do. The second is more of a place to spill your thoughts and change the thoughts of others. It’s more free form, so to speak. Please take advantage of these entities and spread the word. And be sure to take the monthly poll to the right.

You are now allowed to comment clicking on the “comment” word above. Indulge! Now! Do it!
