bandannahan: are you excited about tomorrow?

hannah (14k image)Saturday Emily and myself went to whatever town is above Baltimore. It was pretty damn close to PA. Wack man. We went to this place to get facials and massages. Quite possibly the most laughable thing i’ve ever had going in my head. It was a bunch of women paying money to be pampered. And of course i was the only dude there. They were just sort of confused why i was there and couldnt fathom a reason why i would need a facial or massage. So yeah, the facial ruled. I need one of those humidifiers they used. It would prolly help with my cat allergies at Emily’s house. But yeah, i could deal with that every few months.

So after that craziness we went to Guitar Center in Towson to get me some studio stuff. And i found this random used rack effect. It was like an aural exciter but under a random name. I love strange effects like these. Then we went to Hamden to check out the thrift stores. I got an old Silvertone (sears) Turntable and bought Emily a necklace. Saturday night i just put my studio together even that much more. And Roya come over to hang with me and Laura. So we watched a movie and hung out after dinner.

Sunday we hung with Emily’s mother and boyfriend. We went to lunch at Mark’s Kitchen (yummy!) in Takoma Park and then did the Farmer’s Market as well as some thriftstore shopping! After that we came back to Emily’s place and looked at her baby pictures for an hour or so. Fun fun fun. After that we went to my family’s house to eat dinner and give my sister’s car back. Of course i got lost leaving Arlington. I cant stand Virginia. Their roads are wacked man. Wacked i tell you. But at least my studio is virtually done. Yeah!

Now it’s monday and i had a little tiny nervous breakdown this morning after meeting Steve Irwin or perhaps even in the middle of it. I just was thinking while he was talking about a croc or wacked snake about how much work have to do today and it wasnt a pretty thought. Basically i am just so overwhelmed with work up my ass and for 600 different stations, even outside of DC101. So as so wisely suggested by Emily, i am taking off next Monday through Wednesday which gives me off all week cos of the 4th of July Holiday. Wooo! I so need to just not be at work for a week. Then when i get back it wont be work again. Rock…

thanks peter for the great photo op! - hangmat (15k image)

bacitracin zinc 500 units neomycin sulfate 3.5mg

hannah_nelissa (13k image)I dont know what happens with my time. I’ve been moving crapola since monday and i am almost there, but there are so many things i need to do. I finally got a trash can for my room. Yeah! And a wooden laundry basket. I just wish i had 48 hours in my day.

Dude, on VH1 they are doing this documentary I presume on DEF JAM records. Or perhaps it’s on the rise of “rap” music in the 80s. Funny how rap doesnt exist. It’s all “hip hop”. “Hip hop” attitude. “Hip Hop” clothes. Ehhh. Makes me made. What’s wrong with “rap” attitude? Run DMC man. And Sheila E is on now. Wack man. Rick Ruben is on now. Funny how i am typing this the TV is pretty far away and i dont have my glasses on but i can tell who they are. Maybe they are characatures of themselves. Or maybe i need a new hobie. That and/or i need to learn to spell.

I went to Six Flags this morning. [photos] It was a DC101 Promotion. And it was on my day off. It was kinda fun though. Hannah came to my new place in the morning and then we drove to Largo to pick up Nelissa. We chilled there for a bit while Nelissa was getting ready and looked at all her childhood photos. We also took our shoes off. I really like that idea. I want to implement that dealy when I own my own house. RESPECT. Find out what it means to me. So yeah, Six Flags was fun. While waiting for Nelissa and Hannah to ride the coasters I started talking with this dude about Prince and Chaka Khan. He told me he once met Chaka and he called his mother so she could talk to her. Pretty funny. After that i went to the house to change my wet clothes and went in to work for an hour or so, just to get me thru the weekend. I still have more stuff to do, but i’ll just do it monday morning. Speaking of which, Steve Irwin (yeah, the croc hunter) is coming in to the studio. I cant wait to meet him. He rules! Anyways…then I picked up Emily at the gas station where she dropped her car of to be worked on. Then we went to Anthropologie and to Fresh Fields for some yum yums.

So tomorrow Emily and myself are going to the spa. We’re getting facials and massages. She got a gift certificate from her mother for CHRISTmas. It’ll be nice and it’s totally needed for the both of us. Then we’re going to Guitar Center to pick up some more studio stuff for Skylab. And then i can start putting it all back together. Sunday we’re going to lunch with Emily’s mother. Then dinner with my parents and off to clean up my old room and move more stuff. Fun fun. The fun never ends. But luckily tonite we get to just chill and watch bad movies on TNT. Funny how the USA Network censors “bad” words yet our 1st Ammendment in the USA Constitution is the Freedom of Speech. I am drowning. Woah, I just got an email from my old friend Noell, from Hartford. It’s always great to hear how good my old friends are doing.
