- Released two records that I never thought would see the light of day
- Played in a kick ass live electronic band

2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
- New Years’ resolutions are for pussies

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
- Yes.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
- Uncle Morris died last night.

5. What countries did you visit?
- Does Philly count?

6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
- I’d like to own a house and release more records, and right now it’s looking like one or the other

7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
- December, it was when Skylab had the most construction
- November, it was my anniversary with Emily (2 years!)

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
- Releasing two records on my label
- Not making my GF run away

9. What was your biggest failure?
- Releasing two records on my label

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
- Nope, I just discovered I am highly allergic to wet latex paint

11. What was the best thing you bought?
- My 64 input Soundtracs recording console
- Lactaid

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
- Emily’s and Gordon’s

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
- appalled: my company’s ; depressed: Daniel

14. Where did most of your money go?
- rent, bills, the bank, label

David Bowie’s Sound + Vision. Now upped to 4 discs. This set hasn’t been commercially available for years. Please, for the love of god, get me this. That is all i ask of you. And for once, I have a birthday in just a week or two. You have plenty of time for it to come in time. And here is the nifty little link. Oh yeah, and happy new year. Be good.

  • Those who list “plugins” in their website under equipment (sans T-Racks - that is one serious program)
  • Those who do not use aural exciters nor know what they do
  • Those who think digital mixing boards are far superior to that of analog
  • Those that think ADAT is an inferior format

  • Mackie
  • Protools
  • Those that own studios yet do not subscribe to TapeOp
  • Gigantor studios who make bank that have a shitty website (ie. Omega in Rockville, MD)
  • Those that don’t get British EQ
  • That 12bit sampling is long gone
  • Those that forget it is an art
  • Steve Albini
  • Those who spend time to tune a guitar but wont tune drums
  • Those people who own recording studios
  • Noise reduction system
  • Those who have great vocal mics but no great drum mics
