Top 10 Favorite Clash Songs

The Clash’s career spans not ten years, yet many styles. More than many bands explore. They weren’t just punkers. They incorporated ska, reggae, dub, funk and dance in to their music. Be it Joe Stummer’s raspy and scathingly political tones or Mick Jones’ incredible pop sensibilities or Paul Simonon’s slinky bass lines and occasional lyric, there’s something for everyone. I just don’t understand how one doesn’t own a record of theirs in this day and age. I can’t remember not knowing their music. Even if you only have Combat Rock, it’s a band to be reckoned with.
