please, never again…

george w bush sucks

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.” — Theodore Roosevelt

Fine. He won the popular vote in 2004. I’ll give you that. But it’s a viscous crime when the citizens of Washington DC have to pay $20 million for inauguration security. Hell, 90% of DC Voters voted against him. It’s just a bit excessive. Would it be that hard for the City to be reimbursed from (insert some Federal fund and/or Bush’s personal funds here) so that maybe some of the DC Public Schools would have the chance to afford text books to be put in the hands of a few more children’s hands next year? Have a heart, Mr. President.

  • Dude, don’t worry about it. D.C. just took the money out of its emergency services funding. That just means that the police and EMS don’t receive the protective gear to deal with an outbreak of infectious disease or airborne chemical agents. Really, in all likelyhood, why would the people who dislike America and specifically its government choose to attack D.C.? I can’t think of a good reason, but then again, I live in the suburbs so what do I care.

  • Doesn’t anybody throw eggs at presidents around here anymore?

  • All Hail the American Cesar! Of course, Cesar didn’t last very long…did he! Neither did the Roman Empire.
