i love being a washingtonian.

farragutnorthmetro (8k image)Today I took the Metro to work. I rode half of it with Emily on her way to work. I rode the Metro because we went to a small business accounting workshop last night near Farragut North. I took the Metro and did not drive down there. The workshop was pretty neat. However, we covered mainly stuff I learned about in college like different business entities and tax related information. Besides the woman being a CPA, she’s also an entertainment/artist agent. So we are most likely going to hire her to work with my label. Among other things OM.

So on the Metro this morning i got all snotty and my throat started closing up. And I got completely closterphobic and anxious. I couldnt figure it out until i got a whiff of it. It was perfume. Some fucking smelly girl had to put perfume on. I bet she wears make up, as well. Cos she’s ugly, too.

I can’t understand why they are trying to ban smoking in bars when they should be banning people from smelling like vomit that causes my throat to swell, when I have no where else to go. It’s not like you dont have a choice of bars to go to. I cant just hop on another car. It should be supply and demand. There should be smoke free bars. It’s simple. People go to bars, they smoke. I couldnt imagine a world with smoking bars. My favorite bars are ones that are seedy and dirty and smokey. But the world without perfume? Would anyone really care? People could actually go ride the Metro or go the opera or the theatre without an oxygen mask from their stank that is unavoidable.
